Success quotes for your inspiration

I came across Jeroen De Flander’s website, and I found many interesting quotes for those who want to reach success, however you define it.

Success is “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose”, as the Oxford dictionary states. My friend and former boss Gonzalo used to define success as «having or being plenty of what you want«. Anyhow, it is not (necessarily) about being famous or rich.Resultado de imagen de success

You choose what success means to you. And then you try to find your way. And then you choose if you walk towards it in spite of all the difficulties. In the end, getting there is not as relevant as the journey and the learning while you try to achieve it.

Quotes can summarize deep thoughts in a few words and spark inspiration in the reader. So are a few:

  • “Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in.” ―Bill Bradley
  • “Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value.” ―Albert Einstein
  • “Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do. Don’t wish it were easier; wish you were better.” ―Jim Rohn
  • The only place where success comes before work is the dictionary.” ―Vince Lombardi
  • “You never achieve success unless you like what you are doing.” ―Dale Carnegie

You can find them all here.

Also there is an infography. This amazing video was made by visual artist Axelle from Axellerator.

To end with a grain of salt, one day I’ll talk about motivation as a necessary factor for success but not enough to get it. This is something that motivational speakers tend to forget, and an expensive lesson for those who learn it the hard way.

On the other hand, this can also be an easy excuse not to try things or to quit as soon as you find difficulties. So please try to find your success, first with your heart but also with your brain!
