Truth

We are explorers of the reality. We have the curiosity, authenticity and freshness of a child, and the critical mind of a scientist to acquire and improve our understanding (imperfect but continually improving) of reality. We listen and value all ideas and reasons fairly before deciding. We refuse to be anesthetized or look away to ignore problems.

We opt for empiricism and the scientific approach to understand the world in the most realistic and useful way possible, as opposed to tradition, opinion, interest or personalism. We don’t let voluntarism or ego stop us from seeing things as they are. We keep asking ourselves about how much we ignore or what we believe to be true. We acknowledge our mistakes to improve and listen to criticism in case they hide something valuable.

We say things the way we think they are, and at least we never lie. We do not promise what we cannot deliver. We are transparent, sincere and honest. We speak in a direct and sincere but humble, considerate and constructive way, even when it is not easy. We prefer to say and listen to what is necessary to what is popular.

We look for the essential and relevant, what makes sense, we get to the point and do not pretend. We discern between the counterproductive, the useless, the possible, the positive, and the best, and we orient ourselves accordingly. We are not driven by fashion, popularity or appearances.
