Why ignorance fails to recognize itself

Do you consider yourself better than average at driving, leadership, intelligence, knowledge, teamwork, etc.? 90% of people think so too. 😉

You may be victim of the Dunning Kruger effect. It means that under-performing people in any field of expertise consider themselves above average!

If you think you know enough about it (and everything else), congratulations. Wisdom doesn’t make you happier.

But if you think that you may learn something you didn’t know, I propose this lecture from Dave Dunning, one of the original researchers on the topic.
