Mr. Pfeffer is one of my favourite authors regarding Leadership. With his critical, provoking and scientific approach he questions leadership development as we know it. And he has some good points in his book «leadership bs«:

Rooted in social science, and will practical examples and advice for improving management, Leadership BS encourages readers to accept the truth and then use facts to change themselves and the world for the better.
Of course I don’t always agree with him, but he gives good food for thought
